I received a grill for xmas, this reminded me of the gift I wanted so badly! It is so cute, it opens and closes, great quality.
The surface is truly non-stick and that is impressive considering I use it on the grill. It is very nice to cook something like onions or shrimp on the grill and not have them fall thru the grates.The removable handle is great as I have a small grill and could not cover a pan with a handle.I highly recommend this.
It didn't close quite right. With a little bit of bending and forcing of it, it got a bit better. The handle was also a bit loose. Cheap, but also cheaply made.
At first the thought of spending $750 on a grill seemed insane.Then I started adding up all of the $250-$350 grills I've had to buy in the 7-years I've owned my home. Based on reading hundreds of reviews, I figured that a stainless steel grill made by Weber would be the last grill I'd have to buy.I think I might be right.
I purchased the Cuisinart CGG-200 All-Foods 12,000-BTU Tabletop Gas Grill over a year ago and later, added the portable stand for the grill.I have been very pleased with both.Why then, buy the charcoal version?I'm somewhat of a charcoal fanatic and food grilled over lump charcoal just tastes better in my opinion.I have read reviews of the grill on Amazon and decided that if I was going to purchase it, I might as well get the stand and the cover at the same time. Out of the box, the grill is very easy to assemble and takes only a couple of minutes to set up.
Very large cover.IT would be better if it had some sort tie or string Tie Down mechanism to secure it to the grill. This just slips over and I am worried that in high winds it will blow off never to be seen again!
I have an 80" wide grill and it was very difficult to find a cover wide enough at the brick and mortar stores I looked at.I was pleased to find it here on Amazon and the seller shipped it very promptly.This has a nice heavy duty feel and the skirt practically reaches the floor.I think you will be pleased too!
I have owned my Weber Summit Gold A6 Natural Gas model since last November, and I could not be happier with it.A little about me first.I am a former chef, having trained in France and worked in some of the finest steak houses in Southern California for several years.Although I now work in a different job, my wife is a personal chef, and I often help her with jobs, usually cooking on the Weber.
I had to cancel my order when Amazon kept pushing my delivery date back. I still bought the genesis gold B from my local hardware store.It cooks great and has all the features I was looking for. It heats up and is ready to cook in a couple of minutes.
I bought this after seeing it in a store.It's a much better design than the regular chimney starters I usually see.
Perfect grill for two of us now that the kids are out on their own!
This is heavy duty canvas material and provides total coverage of grill. Color and design is a bit bland but high quailty for the price.
I am very happy with this grill.I've had other Webers and this is by far the best.It has a large cooking surface for feeding large family get-togethers.I can get it extremely hot for searing steaks just right.But it also does what all my other gas gills couldn't do- it lets you cook low and slow at about 200 degrees!When I first got the grill I seasoned a whole chicken and put it on all day, using just the small burner on the smoker box- virtually forgot about it for hours.Later that evening it was tender and juicy.
Agonized over whether or not an expensive grill was worth the money.I call it expensive since you can get the same size for nearly half the price at a retail chain.I'm not agonizing anymore.I have used it for three weeks now and the kitchen oven is getting jealous.We cook everything on this grill.Today, we finally used the rotisserie for a whole chicken and it was the best we've had. Fish, steaks, chicken and pork all grilled to perfection - and fast!
A bit pricey but worth it.This cover will provide great protection for your Weber grill.The materials are heavy and very well constructed.Takes a lot of abuse without fraying or tearing.Fits your Weber like aglove so it keeps dirt and other elements out while the vents preventexcess moisture build-up. This is my second Weber grill and cover in 10years and the first is still like new.If you're buying a great grill,treat it well with a great cover.
This is the Ferrari of Grills! everything you need, smoker, rotisserie, searing station, side stove burner and 6 grill burners. It's just the best, I have been using it for over a month now, and I can say it the best grill I have ever owned and will ever own.
This is one solid grill.The panels, grates, double walled cabinet doors, side shelves all are robust in materials and design. The assembly was minimal, I had it together in 15 minutes.At first I thought the handle lamps and lighted panel were gimmick, but actually are very functional. At 70K BTU, this grill packs a mean punch. It zoomed up to 700'F in less than 10min, so cleaning this afterwards is a breeze. My first use were two 2lb chickens on the rotisserie; the S-670 performed gallantly. If I were to pick a weak spot, it would be the caster wheels; they are a bit on the light-duty side especially when compared with the rest of the grill. I suggest registering warranty by phone, the customer service rep will share with you use and care instructions not as obvious in the manual.
Appeared to be a solid grill topper upon arrival. Outset even has a nice website describing their products (unlike many other brands). Outset even advertised their other products with the same copper coating with good reviews from some food magazine. Upon first use, I was very surprised to see it warped under moderate heat (350F). After it cooled down, it bent back in shape.It was fairly easy to clean after 1st use. Then with 2nd grilling, the food started to stick terribly. I was unable to clean the charcoal mess left on the grill topper. I even left it soaked in soapy water overnight, and was still unable to clean it easily afterwards. I tried to use regular soft dish washing scrubber to clean off the charcoal mess, then discovered some of the nonstick copper-tone "double coat" silicone coating came off! I trashed this piece of junk, as I don't want my family risk eating this non-stick silicone stuff! One of the worst purchases ever! I plan to get a plain stainless steel grill topper next time. It may not be easy to clean, but I can at least use some heavy duty scrubber on it and not worry about any type of nonstick coating coming off...
I bought this grill from Amazon and in short everything worked right out of the box.I bought the grill so that I could sear steaks, grill for a party and cook BBQ low and slow all in one grill.I have had nothing but success, great grill marks and I am able to maintain a 230-250 degree temperature for BBQ (with smoker box for great flavor).The six burners plus the smoker burner and wide cooking surface allow me to tailor the temperature perfectly.The setup instructions were clear and I was able to assemle it myself.I am very pleased with my purchase of the Summit Gold D6 and knowing Weber will be around for as long as I will own this grill as also very reassuring.
